This policy explains what the Chhaya Cement Centre mobile app and website collect from you, why we collect it, and what choices you have. It applies to the Android app Chhaya Cement Centre and to chhayacementcentre.com.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

Account details — your name, email address, phone number and password when you register. You can also order as a guest without creating an account.
Delivery addresses — the postal addresses you save or enter at checkout, including the recipient name and phone number.
Order information — what you ordered, quantities, the amount payable, and the delivery address for each order.
Photographs — only if you choose to set a profile picture or attach an image to a product review.
Reviews and ratings — any review text and star rating you submit. These are displayed publicly next to the product.

Information collected automatically

Device notification token — a Firebase Cloud Messaging identifier, so we can send you order status notifications.
App activity — pages and products you view and the search terms you enter, used to return results and to understand what our customers look for.
Technical data — device model, operating system version and similar diagnostics reported by Google Play, used to fix crashes.

Information we access only with your permission

The app asks for these permissions only at the moment the feature is used. Declining them does not stop you from ordering.

Location — if you tap "use my current location" while adding a delivery address, or pick a point on the map. We use it to fill in the address. The app does not track your location in the background.
Microphone — if you use voice search. Speech is converted to text by your device's speech recognition service; we receive only the resulting search text and do not store an audio recording.
Photos and camera — only for a profile picture or a review image that you choose to upload.
Biometrics — if you enable fingerprint or face unlock, the check is performed by Android on your device. Your fingerprint or face data never leaves your device and is never sent to us.

2. Why we use it

To show you the catalogue and current prices.
To take, process, deliver and invoice your orders.
To keep you signed in and to let you see your order history.
To send you order and delivery updates.
To answer your questions and handle returns or refunds.
To detect and prevent fraud and misuse.
To meet our tax, accounting and other legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

3. Who we share it with

Delivery partners — the name, address and phone number needed to deliver your order.
Payment providers — if you pay online, the payment is handled by the provider. Card and bank details are entered with the provider, not with us, and we do not store them.
Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) — to deliver push notifications. See Firebase privacy.
Google Maps — when you use the map to select a delivery address. See Google's privacy policy.
Professional advisers and authorities — where we are required to disclose information by law.

4. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as required by Indian tax and company law. Account details are kept while your account is open. Reviews stay published until you or we remove them.

5. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Account → Change email / password → Delete account. You will be asked for your password to confirm.

You can also ask us to delete it by writing to [PRIVACY EMAIL] from the email address on the account. We will action the request within 30 days.

Deleting your account removes your profile, saved addresses and wishlist. Completed order and invoice records are retained where the law requires us to keep them, and are then deleted.

6. Your choices

Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
Ask us to delete your account, as described above.
Turn off notifications in your Android settings at any time.
Withdraw location, microphone, camera or photo permission in Android Settings → Apps → Chhaya Cement Centre → Permissions.

7. Security

Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Children

This app sells building materials and is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app.
